Summary
This study looks at how immune cells in fat tissue are linked to insulin resistance in people with obesity. Researchers will collect fat samples from 50 adults undergoing bariatric surgery to measure different types of immune cells and fat cell size. The goal is to understand why some people have trouble losing weight and how inflammation in fat tissue affects insulin sensitivity.
