First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This early study tested whether a faster version of transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) could work for major depression. Instead of daily sessions for 7 weeks, the accelerated schedule aimed to be more convenient. Only 11 people took part, and the main goal was to see if the approach was acceptable and reduced depressive symptoms.
