New Non-Invasive test could replace needles for heart patients

NCT ID NCT06689215

First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests a new, non-invasive method called ezCVP to measure central venous pressure (a key heart health indicator) in 30 adults with heart failure in the ICU. It compares ezCVP to the standard invasive method that uses a catheter. The goal is to see if ezCVP can accurately detect low or high pressure and track changes over time, potentially reducing the need for invasive procedures.
