Eye-Tracking may reveal Parkinson's progression

NCT ID NCT05862649

First seen Apr 24, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study looked at whether simple eye-tracking tests can help measure how Parkinson's disease changes over time. About 300 people with early-stage Parkinson's had their eye movements recorded and compared with standard doctor assessments. The goal was to see if eye tests could detect changes earlier or more easily than traditional exams.
