Summary
This phase 3 trial tests whether an extended-release (once-daily) form of pregabalin works as well as the standard immediate-release (twice-daily) form for relieving nerve pain caused by diabetic peripheral neuropathy or postherpetic neuralgia. About 348 adults aged 18 to 75 with these conditions will receive either the once-daily or twice-daily pill for 16 weeks. The main goal is to compare changes in average daily pain scores between the two groups.
