Exercise prescription: a new weapon against stroke?

Summary
This phase 3 trial tests whether adding regular, personalized exercise to standard medical care can prevent new strokes in 1300 people with symptomatic intracranial arterial stenosis (narrowed arteries in the brain). Participants are randomly assigned to either standard care or standard care plus a tailored aerobic exercise plan guided by an expert. The main goal is to see if exercise reduces the number of new ischemic strokes.
