First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study looks at why many ICU patients, especially those with sepsis, develop lasting muscle weakness. Researchers will test 50 adults who were on a breathing machine for at least 7 days and have left the hospital. Participants will do exercise tests to measure heart and muscle function, helping doctors better understand and potentially treat this condition.
