Exercise and supplement combo tested in childhood cancer survivors at risk for diabetes
NCT ID NCT05023993
First seen Nov 10, 2025 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a program of exercise and a dietary supplement called nicotinamide riboside (similar to vitamin B3) can improve muscle health and blood sugar control in adults who survived childhood cancer and now have prediabetes. About 20 participants will follow a 6-week home-based exercise program and take the supplement. The main goal is to see if this approach is practical and well-tolerated, not to prove it works yet.
