NCT ID NCT07504068

First seen Apr 04, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a combination of exercise and a nutritional supplement (phenylcapsaicin) can improve body composition, metabolism, and overall health in adults aged 50-65 who are overweight but not obese, yet have early signs of metabolic problems like high blood sugar or cholesterol. Participants will follow an exercise program and take either the supplement or a placebo. The goal is to find a safe way to reduce heart disease risk in this often-overlooked group.
