First seen Jan 24, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study looks at whether adding less sitting time to regular exercise can improve heart and metabolic health more than exercise alone. About 30 adults with desk jobs who sit over 9 hours a day will either exercise only or exercise and reduce sitting. Researchers will measure insulin sensitivity and other health markers to find better ways to prevent heart disease and diabetes.
