NCT ID NCT03775577

First seen Mar 21, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study looks at why people with heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) have trouble exercising. Researchers will measure energy use in the heart and leg muscles using special scans. The goal is to understand the problem better, not to test a treatment. About 130 adults with HFpEF will take part.
