NCT ID NCT07467512

First seen Apr 08, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a 12-week exercise program can reduce liver fat, inflammation, and scarring in people with metabolic fatty liver disease. It compares results between older adults (70+) and middle-aged adults (40-60), as well as between those with mild and more advanced liver disease. Participants in the exercise groups will do supervised strength and aerobic training twice a week. The goal is to see if exercise benefits everyone, regardless of age or disease severity.
