NCT ID NCT06470503
First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether a structured, supervised exercise program is safe and feasible for people with painful non-spine bone metastases who have just had palliative radiotherapy. Twenty participants will follow an 8-week exercise plan plus a short maintenance period. Researchers will track side effects, pain, function, and quality of life to see if this approach is worth studying further.

What this could lead to
If successful, this could show that adding exercise to standard radiotherapy is safe and may help improve pain, function, and quality of life for people with bone metastases.
What could go wrong
This is a very small, early feasibility trial with only 20 participants. It is not designed to prove effectiveness, and results may not apply to all patients. Exercise may be difficult for some with advanced cancer.
