Summary

This study looked at whether a supervised exercise program, started 3 months after bariatric surgery, helps improve body composition, muscle strength, and insulin resistance. 61 adults with severe obesity took part. Participants were randomly assigned to either an exercise group or a control group that received general physical activity advice. The goal was to see if structured training leads to better health outcomes after surgery.
