Summary
This study is testing a new driving system for the Berlin Heart EXCOR, a heart pump used in children with severe heart failure who are waiting for a heart transplant. The goal is to see if the new system works safely and effectively. About 40 children will take part, and the study will track device problems, serious side effects, and how many children survive until transplant or recovery.
