Nasal spray could tame racing heart in AFib patients

Summary

This study tests whether a nasal spray called etripamil can safely and quickly slow a rapid heart rate during episodes of atrial fibrillation. About 750 adults with AFib will use the spray at home when they feel symptoms. The goal is to see if it works better than a placebo spray.
