First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether a nerve block called erector spinae plane block can reduce the amount of morphine needed for pain after spinal fracture surgery. About 86 adults having minimally invasive spine surgery will be randomly assigned to receive either the nerve block or a placebo. The main goal is to see if the block cuts morphine use by 30% in the first 24 hours after surgery.
