First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tested two different approaches to improve how well surgeons can see inside the shoulder during a common repair surgery. 80 adults with full-thickness rotator cuff tears were randomly assigned to receive either epinephrine in the irrigation fluid or intravenous tranexamic acid. The main goal was to see which method gave surgeons a clearer view during the procedure.
