First seen Mar 07, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study tested two different approaches to improve how well surgeons can see during arthroscopic rotator cuff repair. 80 adults with a torn rotator cuff were randomly assigned to receive either epinephrine added to the irrigation fluid or intravenous tranexamic acid. The main goal was to see which method gave surgeons a clearer view of the surgical area.
