NCT ID NCT07465562

First seen Mar 18, 2026 · Last updated Jun 04, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study tests whether a dietary supplement containing digestive enzymes can reduce belly bloating after meals in adults with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). About 300 participants will either take the enzyme supplement plus follow a low-FODMAP diet, or follow the diet alone for 14 days. The goal is to see if the enzymes help ease bloating and other gut symptoms better than diet changes alone.
