Summary

This study tested a new device used during an endoscopy to regenerate the lining of the duodenum (the first part of the small intestine) in 20 adults with type 2 diabetes. Participants had poorly controlled diabetes despite taking 2-3 non-insulin medications. The main goal was to see if the procedure was safe and feasible, while also checking effects on blood sugar and weight.
