First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests if injecting alcohol into endometriosis-related ovarian cysts (sclerotherapy) can better preserve egg supply and reduce cyst return compared to standard surgical removal. Sixty women aged 18-40 with cysts at least 2 cm will be randomly assigned to one of the two treatments. Researchers will track ovarian reserve, symptom changes, and cyst recurrence over two years.
