New study offers hope for preserving fertility in endometriosis patients

Summary
This study tests a less invasive surgery called laparoscopic sclerotherapy for ovarian cysts (endometriomas) caused by endometriosis. Instead of removing the whole cyst, doctors drain it and inject a solution to shrink it, which may better protect a woman's egg supply. The study will enroll 20 women and measure changes in ovarian reserve using hormone levels and ultrasound.
