New training eases burden for dementia caregivers

Summary
This study tested a program called EnACT that teaches family caregivers of people with dementia how to better handle challenging behaviors like agitation or depression. Thirty caregivers took part in small group sessions to learn and practice these skills. The goal was to see if the training helped reduce caregiver stress and improve their well-being.
