High-Tech chair aims to tame overactive bladder without drugs or surgery
NCT ID NCT04873037
Summary
This study is testing whether a special chair called the Emsella can help people with overactive bladder. The chair uses electromagnetic energy to stimulate and strengthen pelvic floor muscles, which may reduce symptoms like frequent and urgent bathroom trips. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the real chair treatment or a sham (fake) treatment twice a week for four weeks to see which is more effective.
