NCT ID NCT07066371

First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tested whether Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), a therapy that involves tapping on specific points on the body, can lower anxiety in people recovering from foot wound surgery. Sixty adults who had surgery for a foot ulcer took part. Researchers measured their anxiety levels before and after the tapping sessions. The goal was to see if this simple, non-drug approach could help patients feel calmer during recovery.
