First seen Jun 26, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 26, 2026
Summary
This study looked at 1,500 people who came to the emergency room with symptoms of a kidney stone and got a CT scan within 24 hours. Researchers wanted to know how many actually had a stone, where it was, and how big. They also checked whether having a fast CT scan changed how quickly patients got treatment. The goal was to better understand how emergency CT is used for diagnosing kidney stones.
