New Opioid-Free anesthesia could ease pain after kidney stone surgery

Summary

This study tests whether a combination of two drugs (dexmedetomidine and ketamine) can replace opioids during kidney stone surgery. Sixty adults will receive either this opioid-free approach or standard opioid-based anesthesia. The goal is to see if the opioid-free method reduces pain and the need for extra painkillers after surgery.
