Summary

This study tested an electronic alert system that reminds doctors to screen, monitor, and refer patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD). It involved 66 primary care centers in Stockholm, covering about 780,000 people. The goal was to see if the system improves detection and management of CKD, which often goes undiagnosed.
