NCT ID NCT07633106

First seen Jun 08, 2026 · Last updated Jun 19, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study looks at whether the adrenaline (epinephrine) commonly added to local anesthesia for tooth extraction raises blood sugar levels. Researchers will measure blood glucose before, during, and after the procedure in 90 adults—half with type 2 diabetes and half without. The goal is to provide clearer safety guidance for diabetic patients undergoing routine dental surgery.
