Brain wave test may predict Ketamine's power against depression

NCT ID NCT07307768

First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This early-stage study aims to develop a brain wave (EEG) test that can measure how ketamine affects people with treatment-resistant depression. Researchers will give ketamine infusions to 20 participants and track changes in both their depression symptoms and brain signals. The goal is to find a reliable way to predict or monitor ketamine's effects, not to test it as a treatment.
