Heart risks of meth use and psychosis under the microscope

Summary

This study looks at heart electrical patterns (ECGs) in 240 people with methamphetamine use disorder, some of whom also have psychosis. Researchers compare ECGs at the start of treatment and before discharge to see if psychosis adds extra heart risk. The goal is to better understand cardiac dangers in these patients.
