NCT ID NCT06014411

First seen Apr 04, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study looks at whether it's safe and satisfying to shower early after orthopedic surgery for broken bones. Half of the 56 participants will bathe normally without covering their wound, while the other half will follow the traditional delayed approach with covered wounds. The goal is to see if early bathing improves patient satisfaction without raising infection rates.
