Dental implant bone loss under the microscope
NCT ID NCT07625813
First seen Jun 12, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026
Summary
This study reviewed dental X-rays from 256 adults who had implants in their lower jaw. Researchers measured bone loss around the implants right after the final crown was placed and again after some time. They also looked at factors like implant length that might affect bone loss. The goal was to better understand early bone changes, not to test a new treatment.
