Wrist fracture recovery: early activity may speed healing

NCT ID NCT05650996

First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looks at whether doing daily activities early after a wrist fracture (treated with a cast) helps people recover better. 64 adults will be split into two groups: one gets instructions on how to safely use their injured hand, the other gets only cast care advice. Researchers will measure hand function, pain, and fear of movement over 3 months.
