First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study tracks brain activity in 25 people with dystonia who are getting deep brain stimulation (DBS). Researchers want to find brain signals that show how well the treatment is working, so therapy can be adjusted faster and more precisely. Participants will use a special pacemaker that records brain signals for a year, along with weekly symptom reports and monthly check-ups.
