First seen May 17, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding the drug dupilumab to standard COPD treatment can prevent another serious flare-up after a hospital stay. About 754 adults with COPD who have high levels of certain white blood cells will receive either dupilumab or a placebo for around 90 days. The goal is to see if the drug reduces hospital readmissions, emergency visits, or death.
