Summary

This study tests whether duloxetine, a medication that affects brain signals, can help adults with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) feel less distressed and disabled. About 32 adults with IBD who have high anxiety, distress, or disability will take duloxetine daily for several weeks. Researchers will measure changes in mood and daily function to see if the drug is helpful and safe.
