Summary

This study tests whether giving two drugs together (vedolizumab and upadacitinib) for 12 weeks works better than vedolizumab alone to reduce bowel inflammation and ulcers in adults with moderate to severe Crohn's disease. About 396 participants will receive the combo or a placebo combo, then all responders switch to vedolizumab alone for 40 more weeks. The goal is to see if the initial combo leads to better long-term control of the disease.
