New virtual groups aim to close diabetes tech gap for latinx teens

Summary

This study tests whether virtual peer groups can help Latinx teenagers with type 1 diabetes use insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitors more often. About 120 teens and their caregivers will join online and in-person sessions to share experiences and get support. The goal is to see if this approach is practical and helpful for improving diabetes management.
