This study tests whether an advanced hybrid closed loop insulin pump (MiniMed 780G) can improve blood sugar control, quality of life, thinking skills, and physical abilities in people over 60 with type 1 diabetes. Participants are randomly assigned to either continue their usual insulin therapy or use the automated system for 12 months.
