Summary

This study compared two common antibiotics, doxycycline and trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazole, to see which works better for treating uncomplicated skin infections like boils and cellulitis. 269 people aged 9 to 85 took part. The goal was to see if the infection cleared up within a few days and stayed gone for a month.
