First seen Mar 20, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study aims to understand why some people with depression do not get better with standard medications. Researchers will use brain scans to compare dopamine receptors in three groups: people with treatment-resistant depression, those whose depression responds to treatment, and healthy volunteers. The goal is to find biological differences that could lead to better treatments in the future.
