First seen Mar 16, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study tests whether virtual face-to-face health coaching helps caregivers of hospitalized older adults improve their own self-care and reduce stress, compared to just giving them online information. About 314 caregivers who provide at least 8 hours of care per week will be randomly assigned to one of two groups for six months. Researchers will measure changes in self-care, confidence, coping, and stress levels.
