First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether a 5-week group therapy program called Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) can reduce stress and improve quality of life for family caregivers of stroke survivors. About 30 caregivers aged 40 or older who provide most of the care for a stroke survivor at home will participate. Half will receive the group therapy, and the other half will not, allowing researchers to compare the effects.
