Surgery recovery app with live coach aims to get patients home sooner

Summary
This study tests a digital health platform called Pip, paired with a live health coach, to see if it helps people recover better after abdominal surgery. About 1,300 adults scheduled for surgery will use the app and get coaching, or receive standard care. The goal is to shorten hospital stays and reduce readmissions and ER visits.
