Summary
This study tested whether a dietary supplement could improve dry eye symptoms by changing the bacteria in the gut. Twenty adults with dry eye disease took the supplement for 8 weeks. Researchers measured tear production and eye surface health at the start and end of the study. The goal was to see if the supplement could offer a new way to ease dry eye discomfort.
