First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study tests whether a 12-month diet low in salt, caffeine, protein, and carbs, but high in potassium and water, can slow kidney cyst growth in people with ADPKD. Researchers will compare MRI scans and urine markers between 30 adults on the special diet and those eating normally. The goal is to find a safe, non-drug way to manage the disease.
