Can your diet before chemo affect your treatment?

NCT ID NCT06483997

Summary

This study is observing 100 women with breast or gynecological cancers to see if their diet in the month before starting chemotherapy is linked to levels of a blood protein called hepcidin. Researchers will then check if hepcidin levels are connected to how well patients can stick to their planned chemotherapy doses. The goal is to gather knowledge that might help improve future treatment plans, but this study does not test a treatment itself.
