Heart function under the microscope in dialysis patients

Summary
This study will use echocardiography (ultrasound of the heart) to look at how common and how severe diastolic dysfunction—a type of heart stiffness—is in 100 adults with end-stage kidney disease who are on regular hemodialysis. Researchers will also check if certain clinical factors or dialysis-related issues are linked to these heart changes. The goal is to better understand this heart problem in dialysis patients, not to test a new treatment.
