First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at over 10,000 adults in Ecuador to understand why some people with diabetes develop kidney disease. Researchers will collect health surveys, blood and urine samples, and kidney tissue to study social, environmental, and biological factors. The goal is to find new ways to prevent, diagnose, and treat diabetic kidney disease in Hispanic populations.
